Sitemap Optimization for Better Google Indexing

I'm looking for an expert in sitemap management. My current sitemaps, generated from MPG Multiple Page Generator, consist of 115,000 URLs across 4 XML files. However, Google is only indexing about 13,000 of them.
Here's a summary of the situation:
- The URLs primarily consist of blog posts or articles.
- All URLs are optimized for indexing.
- The pages are virtuals using spintax.
I need smaller, more manageable sitemaps that will facilitate Google's indexing process. Please note, I usually use A1 Sitemap Generator for this task, but it's not working as expected now.
