We are a fragrance brand looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to categorize and tag perfume products on our Shopify store.
This is a structured task with clear rules. You will be assigning categories such as fragrance family, style, occasion, season, and notes using a predefined system.
What You’ll Do:
Research fragrances using provided sources
Assign categories based on guidelines
Input data into a Google Sheet using dropdown selections
Ensure consistency across all products
Categories You Will Assign:
Fragrance Family (1 per product)
Style Tags (2–4)
Occasion (2–3)
Season (1–2)
Sweetness (1)
Intensity (1)
Notes (3–5 from a fixed list)
Important:
This is NOT creative writing.
You must follow the system exactly. No guessing or creating new categories.
Tools You Will Use:
Google Sheets (with dropdowns and validation)
Fragrance databases (links will be provided)
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions precisely
Experience with data entry or product tagging preferred
Basic understanding of fragrances is a plus (not required)
Project Size:
~1200 products
We will start with a paid test of 20–50 products before continuing.
