Job ID: 40332806

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

Title: Senior Growth Strategist Needed — SEO + PPC Across E-Commerce, Local, and Service Businesses

We are hiring a senior growth strategist to diagnose and improve performance across 3 businesses with different demand models.

This is not a junior execution role and not a generic agency engagement.

We need someone who can think at the level of:
• demand capture
• intent segmentation
• conversion friction
• trust architecture
• campaign-to-landing-page fit
• prioritization by business impact

Businesses

1) National e-commerce optical business

Main offer: replacing lenses in existing frames online
Secondary offer: new glasses

Needs:
• high-intent SEO + PPC alignment
• better message-to-offer sequencing
• sharper landing page strategy
• stronger conversion performance
• clearer trust and decision support

2) Local optical business

Needs:
• profitable local PPC strategy
• high-intent service targeting
• local SEO built around real revenue opportunities
• better prioritization of commercial services

3) Beauty service-area business

Needs:
• service-area SEO structure
• location-intent capture
• service-page strategy
• selective paid acquisition guidance

Current situation

A meaningful amount of work is already built:
• content and SEO pages
• landing pages
• active campaigns
• trust-building experiments
• offer and messaging tests
• strategic positioning work

The next step is not more activity.

The next step is to make the system smarter:
• identify the real bottlenecks
• improve traffic quality
• reduce wasted spend
• improve campaign structure
• tighten ad-to-page fit
• find what actually lifts conversion

What the work needs to start with

Before making major recommendations, we expect the work to begin with a real diagnostic analysis, not a surface-level audit.

This should include analysis of:
• traffic quality by channel and campaign
• keyword and search term intent quality
• campaign structure and budget allocation
• landing page match to user intent
• offer clarity and sequencing
• conversion friction across the funnel
• trust gaps and credibility blockers
• lead or sale quality, not just top-line conversion volume
• wasted spend and misaligned targeting
• measurement accuracy, attribution, and tracking reliability

We want someone who can determine:
• where demand is being captured correctly
• where the wrong traffic is entering
• where users are dropping due to friction or confusion
• where trust is too weak to support conversion
• where the economics do not justify continued spend
• what should be fixed first for the highest business impact

The goal is not more reporting.
The goal is to identify the real constraints and produce a prioritized growth plan.

What success looks like

The right person can:
• identify true bottlenecks quickly
• separate signal from noise
• diagnose why performance is underperforming
• improve traffic quality, not just volume
• reduce wasted ad spend
• improve targeting, structure, and funnel fit
• identify trust gaps and friction points
• recommend what to fix first, second, and third
• adapt strategy by business model instead of using one template everywhere

You are probably a fit if:
• you have strong Google Ads strategy experience
• you have strong SEO judgment, not just deliverables
• you understand e-commerce and local service economics
• you can challenge assumptions with logic
• you can explain why something is not working
• you can connect media buying, landing pages, and conversion behavior

You are probably NOT a fit if:
• you sell standard SEO packages
• your solution is mostly backlinks, content volume, or reporting
• you rely on generic audits with weak prioritization
• you optimize surface metrics without understanding buying intent
• you manage ad accounts but do not think strategically

Required application questions

Please answer all of these directly:
1. What is the difference between campaign management and growth strategy?
2. How do you diagnose whether low performance is caused by traffic quality, landing page friction, weak offer, trust deficit, or measurement problems?
3. How do you decide whether a keyword or search theme is worth buying?
4. Give one example where you improved performance through positioning, targeting, offer changes, or message changes.
5. Which of these 3 business types are you strongest in, and why?
6. What would your first 14 days look like?
7. What access would you need before making major decisions?

Required proof

Please include:
• case studies
• before/after numbers
• exact role you played
• what changes you made
• tools/platforms used
• whether you will personally do the work

Engagement structure

We prefer to start with:
1. a paid strategic diagnostic
2. a prioritized action plan
3. a small implementation test if the fit is strong

Please do not send a generic agency pitch.

We are looking for judgment, clarity, prioritization, and strategic depth.
