Search Engine Functionality

I have recently developed a website in Square but own a Squarespace domain. I have the Squarespace domain forwarding to my Square website but I am having problems connecting it as well as coming up on Google searches. Right now without my actual web link you could not find my website. I am sure it is an easy fix, I am just not very across this stuff.
