SEO for Personal Profile

I need someone that can demote the ranking of a website that shows up in the number two spot when doing a name search on me. The website refuses to take the defamatory information about me down. The only strategy then would be to move it back to a few Google search pages by promoting other sites. I would like these sites to be genuine and not bogus though.
