SEO and Google analytics/search for my new webbsite

I've created a website www.technical-writer.io and today I have done the basics like creating a site map and doing basic SEO work.
What I need is someone very experienced with SEO to help get the organic ranking cranked up. It is a basic site, just written in html/jscript and the concept is pretty straight forward.
I'll need advice and action in getting the site ranking better.
You will detail what and when you will do this work. As this is SEO you need to be able to communicate fluently in English.
