Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SEO expert with a strong background in resolving SEO crawling issues in Google Search Console. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of search engine optimization best practices, technical SEO, and website crawling and indexing processes. This role requires a proactive and analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of Google Search Console.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and diagnose crawling issues in Google Search Console affecting website visibility and indexing.
• Analyze server logs, crawl stats, and error reports to determine the root cause of crawling problems.
• Review and optimize robots.txt files to ensure proper access for search engine crawlers.
• Monitor XML sitemaps and ensure they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the website structure.
• Conduct thorough site audits to identify technical SEO issues impacting crawling and indexing.
• Collaborate with developers, webmasters, and content teams to implement necessary fixes and improvements.
• Provide recommendations on website architecture, internal linking, and crawlability improvements.
• Monitor and analyze crawl data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and crawling technologies.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an SEO specialist or similar role, with a focus on resolving crawling issues in Google Search Console.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, crawling, and indexing processes.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools.
• Proficiency in interpreting server logs and crawl data.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical SEO problems.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website development principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently, taking ownership of SEO crawling issues.
• Certification in SEO or related field is a plus.
