Resolve Stale URLs in Console
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I recently relaunched the entire site—homepage, blog, product pages, every single URL—and replaced them with a cleaner structure. Google Search Console, however, is still clinging to the old URLs and reporting legacy impressions, coverage warnings, and indexing issues. I need someone who knows the platform inside-out to make the console reflect reality.
Here’s what I expect:
• Audit the property to pinpoint why the new URLs haven’t replaced the old ones (sitemap processing, 301/302 logic, canonical misfires, crawl budget, Cache, etc.).
• Submit and verify an updated XML sitemap, fetch & render critical templates through URL Inspection, and trigger re-indexing where necessary.
• Ensure proper 301 redirects and canonical tags are in place so no equity is lost.
• Deliver a concise fix-log explaining what you did and the results (errors cleared, pages indexed, date stamps of re-crawl).
• Outline any lingering tasks I should handle internally to keep the index clean.
Please include a detailed project proposal—and if you’ve solved a similar “whole-site URL change” before, mention the approach and turnaround time. Once Search Console shows the correct live URLs and clears the obsolete ones, I’ll consider the job complete.
