Resolve Google Search Console Indexing
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Many of my pages have slipped out of Google’s index and Search Console shows them as “Discovered – currently not indexed.” After a round of major site changes—new templates, reorganised URLs and a fresh sitemap submission—the problem has only worsened. I’m unsure whether the affected URLs are primarily blog posts, product pages or landing pages; at this point I simply need every legitimate page back in the index and reporting healthy coverage.
What I need you to do
• Audit Search Console coverage, crawl stats and sitemaps to pinpoint the root cause of the non-indexed URLs.
• Inspect robots.txt, meta robots tags, canonical setup, internal linking and server response codes to clear any crawl blocks.
• Implement or guide the fixes (code edits, sitemap regeneration, structured-data tweaks, URL removals, etc.) that will encourage Google to crawl and recognise each valid page.
• Submit and monitor re-index requests, then validate that the affected URLs turn green in the Index Coverage report.
• Deliver a short report summarising findings, actions taken and any ongoing recommendations.
The ideal approach combines hands-on Search Console experience with solid technical SEO skills—think log-file analysis, crawl-budget optimisation, and familiarity with tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb or similar. Once the pages are fully indexed again, the engagement is complete, but I’m open to a brief follow-up check-in to confirm stability.
