Remove fake Google Maps review

Can you remove a fake Google Maps review or know anyone who can?
Please note that I am an experienced developed and I know all standard ways to deal with it. Like contacting Google, trying appeals, filling out forms etc. All that is very ineffective and usually does not work. I've done it many times, works very very rarely.
What i hope for is to find someone who works with SEO kind of things and has enough contacts who can flag the review as being inappropriate/fake/not applicable to the business. I know that even that does not work well. A fake review needs to be flagged not just a few times but many many times to make any effect. My client cannot do it alone and even with all the friends. Need a bigger volume.
I can prove that the review is fake and this is a legitimate request.
I admit i don't know EVERTYTHING and there is a possibility that there is something that I have not tried or did not know about. So if you you HAVE DONE IT BEFORE and know for sure that whatever you do will work and won't just waste my time, please let me know what can you do.
I need a certain, guaranteed way to remove a fake review, at a reasonable cost. If it is too much effort it might not be worth it. And it will be too much effort if you have not done it before and not sure exactly what to do and how.
