Polish My Switzerland Travel Blog
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I already have the domain, hosting, and WordPress running—Kadence is installed and the first pages are live—but the site still feels like a rough draft. I need a WordPress specialist who can refine what is there and turn it into a visually engaging, search-friendly travel blog about Switzerland.
Design & layout priorities
• Rework the homepage so it instantly communicates the blog’s focus on itineraries, history, and photography.
• Create a clean, reusable blog-post template that makes photos pop and keeps text readable.
• Streamline the navigation menu and overall site structure so readers reach key sections in no more than two clicks.
• Smooth out UX details: typography, spacing, colour consistency, and mobile responsiveness.
SEO and performance goals
• Tighten meta titles, descriptions, and schema so every post is ready for Google discovery.
• Improve page-load speed through image optimisation, caching, and lightweight Kadence tweaks; Core Web Vitals scores should reach ‘good’ in PageSpeed Insights.
Technical scope
• WordPress + Kadence customisation (blocks, hooks, global palette).
• Plugin audit—keep only what adds value, replace heavy tools with lighter alternatives when possible.
• Set up a clear category/tag taxonomy for future growth.
• Optional but welcome: guidance on Rank Math or Yoast, and basic GA4/GSC integration.
Deliverables
1. Polished, responsive homepage and post template.
2. Updated navigation and internal-link structure.
3. On-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, image alts) for existing content.
4. Performance report showing before/after scores and the steps you took.
I’ll provide full admin access and brand assets; you bring the design eye, SEO know-how, and Kadence expertise to finish the job quickly and cleanly.
