Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a clean, fast-loading personal blog built in pure HTML, CSS and a touch of lightweight JavaScript. The site will revolve around text-based articles, so typography and readable layouts are key. A simple, intuitive search functionality must be included so visitors can quickly find older posts.
Pages will include a landing page that lists recent articles, an individual post template, and an about/contact page. I’m aiming for semantic, well-commented code that I can easily edit later in any text editor, with no heavy frameworks or CMS—just static files I can drop onto my host.
Please keep the code standards-compliant (HTML5, responsive CSS) and optimise for performance and basic SEO. When handing over, provide a short README that explains folder structure and the JavaScript used for the search.
