Optimize Squarespace SEO Performance
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
As the owner of a recently updated Squarespace website, I'm facing challenges with Google indexing. I recently had to change categories on my Squarespace shop, which changed urls across the board. While I did set up 301 redirects, I'm not sure those are working like they should (non-techy person here).
When I did all that, my views, clicks, orders, and traffic to my site dropped like a rock.
So maybe I broke something when I was trying to fix things -at any rate, I need someone to help me get my site back up in views, ranking, and indexing.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Squarespace Commerce platforms, SEO, specifically with Google Search Console
- Proven track record with improving indexing times for web pages and ensuring that my site is working as it should in terms of urls, categories, etc.
- Experience in utilizing Google Search Console to monitor and troubleshoot indexing issues.
Tasks:
- Analyze the website to ensure all SEO best practices are in place.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues causing delayed indexing and drop in traffic/clicks/etc.
- Advise on any structural or content changes needed to improve indexing speed.
- Verify submissions and indexing status through Google Search Console.
The ideal freelancer will communicate effectively and provide a strategic approach to resolve the indexing delay and drop in visibility on Google. Please include your relevant experience and strategies you would implement in your proposal, as well as a timeline for this project.
