Need Help Getting My Football News Website Indexed by Google

I'm reaching out to ask for your help and expertise. I run a football news website called FootballNewss where I regularly publish updates about matches, teams, and players.
The issue I'm facing is that Google is not indexing my pages , even though I've been publishing content consistently for several weeks. When I search for my domain or specific articles on Google, they do not appear in the results.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Submitted my site to Google Search Console
Created and submitted a sitemap (sitemap_index.xml)
Set up a basic robots.txt file allowing all crawlers
Used the Yoast SEO plugin for optimization
Tried manually requesting indexing for individual URLs
Despite these efforts, only a small number of pages are indexed, and most of my content still does not show up in Google search results.
If anyone has experience with similar issues, I would really appreciate your insights on:
