I need to put my entire site through a thorough crawl, catalogue every single broken or obsolete link, and then go back through the pages and strip those links out one by one. Because of company policy I can’t hand over CMS or server credentials, so the work has to happen while we’re on a screenshare call. You’ll guide me as I run the crawler, interpret the results together, and then walk me through removing each 404-generating link.
After the clean-up we’ll trigger a second crawl to prove the site is free of dead links. The aim is a clean report with zero errors reported. If we spot any stubborn outliers we’ll tackle them immediately until the crawl comes back clear.
Preferred outcome: all broken links removed (no redirects this time). Your expertise with tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, or any comparable crawler is welcome—whatever you’re most efficient with. I just need clear, step-by-step guidance and best-practice explanations so the process is repeatable in the future.
