Headless WordPress Nuxt Service Website
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
I am launching a new UK-based company called National Removals & Storage.
I need a developer to build a modern, high-performance website using Headless WordPress + Nuxt.js.
The goal is to create a fast, SEO-friendly site that automatically generates pages for different UK cities (for example, “Removals in London”, “Storage in Manchester”, etc.).
I already have:
The domain name registered
A dataset of UK cities and counties (CSV and JSON formats)
Page templates and example content ready to use
You will use these to build the website.
Scope of Work (Phase 1 – MVP)
Main pages:
Home
About
How It Works
Removals
Storage
Contact
Quote form (simple version that sends enquiry details by email)
Location pages (auto-generated):
Approximately 20–30 city pages (e.g., /removals/london/, /storage/manchester/)
CMS setup:
WordPress configured as a headless CMS (content editing only)
Connect to the Nuxt.js front end using WPGraphQL
Editors should be able to update content, images, FAQs, and guides easily
Design:
Clean, responsive layout suitable for desktop and mobile
Use an existing UI component library (e.g., Tailwind) rather than custom design
Performance and SEO:
Fast load times and mobile-friendly
Basic SEO features (titles, meta tags, sitemap, canonical URLs)
Hosting:
WordPress hosted on Kinsta, SiteGround, or a similar provider
Nuxt.js site deployed on Vercel or Netlify
Required Skills
Proven experience with Nuxt.js (or Next.js)
Experience integrating Headless WordPress via WPGraphQL
Strong understanding of static site generation and SEO best practices
Clear communication and ability to work independently
What Will Be Provided
Domain name: nationalremovalsandstorage.co.uk
Dataset of UK cities and counties (CSV and JSON)
Markdown templates for page content
Logo and colour direction
Reference website: HomeMove.com for structural guidance
Budget and Timeline
Budget: £2,000 – £3,000 (fixed-price preferred)
Timeline: 4–6 weeks total
Payment via milestones: setup → development → launch
How to Apply
Please include the following with your proposal:
A short introduction about yourself or your team
Links to previous Next.js/Nuxt.js + Headless WordPress projects
Confirmation that you can build automated location-based pages
Your proposed timeline and total project cost within the stated budget
