Freelance Website & SEO Dominator for Heavy Equipment Tractor Dealership
Budget: $250 – $1,500 USD
I am on the hunt for a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Website/SEO/Google Shopping Specialist to take our online presence to the next level. We are a growing heavy equipment dealership and are looking for a partner to help us dominate the digital landscape, drive qualified leads, and increase sales.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and data-driven expert, passionate about all things SEO, content strategy, and e-commerce. You will be responsible for transforming our website into a powerful sales and lead generation engine, ensuring we are not only visible to potential customers but are the go-to resource in our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Page & Technical SEO:
Keyword & Metadata Mastery: Update auto-generated metadata and customize it using Yoast based on in-depth keyword research. Your focus will be on targeting specific geographic locations and high-priority equipment types to attract relevant search traffic.
Title & Description Optimization: Override automated settings for page titles and meta descriptions to create compelling, keyword-rich snippets that clearly communicate the value of each page to both Google and potential customers.
Headline & Content Hierarchy: Ensure all H1 headlines are highly relevant and accurately reflect the page's content, as this is a primary ranking factor for search engines. You will also be responsible for optimizing the overall heading structure (H2, H3, etc.) for readability and SEO.
Website Search Functionality: Guarantee our on-site search bar is robust and effectively searches all website content, including equipment listings, parts, and informational pages.
Content Strategy & Creation:
Strategic Landing Pages: Develop and build high-converting landing pages for specific promotional offers, equipment comparisons, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Informative Blog Content: Create a content calendar and produce engaging blog posts that provide valuable information to our customers. These posts will not only attract organic traffic but will also be used for internal linking to boost the authority of key sales pages.
AI-Powered Search Optimization: Structure website content, particularly through comprehensive FAQ pages and "new shopper" guides, in a conversational, question-and-answer format. This will be crucial for our website to be a primary source for Google's AI-generated search results and other AI-powered platforms.
Customer-Centric Content: Develop website content, including landing pages and blog posts, that directly addresses the common questions and pain points our customers have about Tractors, Skid Steers, Track Loaders, Telehandlers, and Articulated Loaders.
Google Shopping & E-commerce:
Google Shopping Feed Management: Take the lead on populating our equipment and parts listings, complete with pricing, into Google Search results via a meticulously managed Google Shopping feed.
Competitive Analysis & Strategy:
Know the Competition: Conduct thorough research of competitor websites, such as colemanequip.com, messicks.com, and sneadtractor.com. You will be expected to analyze their keyword strategies, SEO tactics, content marketing efforts (including any blogs or resource centers), and their presence in Google and other AI-powered search results.
Actionable Insights: Translate your competitive research into actionable strategies for pellsinc.com, identifying opportunities to outperform our rivals and capture greater market share.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Website Manager, SEO Specialist, or Digital Marketing Freelancer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Yoast, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
Demonstrable experience in creating and managing successful Google Shopping campaigns.
Excellent content creation and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical product information into customer-friendly language.
A forward-thinker who is up-to-date on the latest trends in SEO and the increasing role of AI in search.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Experience in the heavy equipment or a similar B2B industry is a plus, but not required.
