Fix WordPress Open-Graph Issue
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
Facebook is currently ignoring the title, image and description tags on links from my WordPress site. The problem only shows up on the most recent articles; older posts share correctly. I have already cleared every cache layer on the site and reset the main SEO plugin, but the Facebook debugger still returns empty metadata until I force-scrape each URL manually.
I suspect the culprit is a conflict with Offload Media Lite (or the way media metadata is being stored after offloading), because I also receive the error message:
“Error updating metadata: we ran into an error attempting to update metadata from all media in your library. RUN AGAIN”
What I need from you:
• Trace why Open Graph tags are not being output or recognised for new posts.
• Check for and resolve any conflict between Offload Media Lite and the theme/SEO plugins that generate OG data.
• Repair the media-library metadata routine so the above error disappears.
• Verify the fix by running each affected URL through the Facebook debugger until title, image and description are picked up automatically—no manual scrape required.
Please be comfortable with WordPress core debugging, plugin conflict isolation, and the nuances of OG markup. A quick, documented solution that keeps my current hosting and plugin stack intact is the goal.
