Expanding and Refining WordPress Website

WordPress Website Completion, Page Expansion & Optimisation (Theme Installed)

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced WordPress freelancer to finalise, expand, and refine our company website.

The website is already live on WordPress with:
A premium WordPress theme installed and configured
Initial pages created by the theme provider (limited to 5 pages)
Branding (colours, typography, logo) applied
Core structure and navigation in place
Approved content and messaging ready for use

The original 5-page limit applied only to the theme installation package.
This project is to go beyond that, including editing existing pages and building additional pages using the existing theme templates.

Scope of Work

Phase 1 – Review & Refinement of Existing Pages

Review and improve the pages already built, including:
Home
Products overview
About
Blog
Contact

Tasks may include:
Content edits and refinement
Reordering or simplifying sections
Layout and spacing adjustments
Consistency in headings, typography, and CTA placement
Mobile and tablet optimisation
Minor UX improvements using existing theme components

No redesign or new templates are required.

Phase 2 – Additional Pages

Create and implement additional pages using existing theme templates, including (but not limited to) 7 product pages

All content will be provided.
The work is primarily page creation, layout consistency, and polish.

Phase 3 – UX, Mobile & Visual Polish

Ensure visual consistency across all pages
Improve spacing, alignment, and readability
Responsive optimisation across devices
Replace placeholders with supplied images, screenshots, and videos

Phase 4 – SEO & Performance

On-page SEO improvements:
Page titles and meta descriptions
Heading hierarchy (H1–H3)
Image alt text
SEO plugin setup (RankMath or Yoast)
Clean URL structure
XML sitemap
Performance optimisation
Ensure analytics and cookie consent work correctly together

Phase 5 – QA & Launch Readiness

Cross-browser testing
Mobile QA
CTA and form testing
Blog template check
Cookie consent validation
Final clean-up and handover

This project includes:

Building more than 5 pages
Using existing theme templates
Implementing provided content
SEO and performance optimisation

This project does NOT include:
Custom theme development
Full visual redesign
Copywriting
Backend software development
