SEO Specialist (Web & Content Optimization)

About the Role:
We are looking for an SEO Specialist who can help our company rank high and get discovered by DJs, venues, and event organizers nationwide. Your focus will be optimizing the platform for organic search, making sure DJs and events surface naturally to the right audience.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an SEO strategy
• Optimize site structure, URLs, meta data, image alt text, and on-page content
• Provide SEO guidance for DJ profiles and event pages
• Build a keyword strategy targeting event hosts, DJs, and music lovers
• Monitor search engine rankings and organic traffic growth
• Recommend and implement link-building strategies

Ideal Candidate:
• Proven track record improving SEO for service-based or directory platforms
• Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Familiarity with WordPress SEO plugins (RankMath, Yoast)
• Basic understanding of music or event-related search behavior (preferred)
• Can produce monthly reports and actionable insights
