Enable SEO-Friendly URLs on AWS

Job ID: 40590949

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

My CMS refuses to activate its SEO add-on because URL rewriting is disabled on my AWS instance. I can log in over SSH but I’m not sure whether the machine is running Apache, Nginx, or another web server.

What I need:
• Diagnose the active web server and verify its rewrite module (mod_rewrite, rewrite module for Nginx, etc.).
• Configure the server so clean, SEO-friendly URLs work across the site.
• Apply the change in a way that survives future deployments or reboots.
• Show me the commands or config snippets you touched and confirm the SEO add-on can finally be toggled on without errors (I’ll test this from the admin panel).

If a .htaccess, nginx.conf, or any other config file is required, feel free to create or edit it directly; I’ll supply any paths or credentials you need. A quick note explaining your steps will serve as the hand-off documentation.
