Determine the reason for lack of engagement on our YouTube channel

We started a YouTube channel a few months ago and are getting close to no views, let alone subscribers at all. We did keyword research, used SEO and made quality videos while putting a lot of money into the content. Now we need help from a professional telling us what exactly we did wrong (if anything) or what we can do in order to really gain momentum.
