Clean Aged Domain Sourcing, Audit & 301 Redirect Implementation

Job ID: 40625409

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist who can source, audit and help us acquire one or more clean aged/expired domains for a technically correct 301 migration.

Our website is a French-language project in the IPTV, Smart TV applications, Android TV, media software and streaming technology niche.

We are NOT looking for:
- Mass-produced “high DR” domains
- Hacked or compromised websites
- Domains with casino, adult, escort, pharma, betting or gambling history
- APK mod/cracked software domains
- PBN link farms or domains with thousands of artificial backlinks
- Cloaking, injected pages, parasite SEO or temporary rented redirects
- Irrelevant domains redirected directly to our homepage
- Domains controlled by the provider after payment

We have already reviewed several domains with inflated SEO metrics. Many had spam anchors, hacked pages, thousands of links from one website, adult/casino backlinks or completely unrelated histories. We therefore need a specialist who performs a real manual audit, not someone who only checks DA, DR or referring-domain numbers.

What we need:

1. Domain sourcing

Find aged or expired domains related to one or more of these subjects:

- Smart TV
- Android TV
- TV applications
- Media players
- Streaming technology
- Telecommunications
- Consumer electronics
- Software and mobile applications
- Digital media
- Technology news

Preferred extensions:

- .com
- .net
- .org

The domain must be available for registration, closeout purchase or auction. We prefer extensions that do not require local residency verification.

Do not purchase or bid on any domain before receiving our written approval.

2. Complete manual audit

For every proposed domain, provide:

- Domain name and current purchase price
- Normal annual renewal price
- Domain age and first Archive.org capture
- Complete Wayback Machine history across several years
- Number of previous drops or major ownership changes
- Current and historical backlink profile
- Active versus lost backlinks
- Follow versus nofollow backlinks
- Top referring domains
- Top linked target URLs
- Anchor-text distribution
- Percentage of links coming from the same domain or network
- Sitewide, footer or sidebar link concentration
- Spam, adult, casino, escort, pharma, crypto and betting checks
- Language and geographical relevance
- Trademark or brand-name risks
- Evidence that important backlinks are still live
- Screenshots or CSV exports supporting the analysis

Quality is more important than DA, DR, Authority Score or backlink quantity.

As a general guideline, a good candidate should preferably have:

- At least 20–30 real referring domains
- At least 5–10 active follow referring domains
- At least 3 genuine editorial backlinks
- Some backlinks from established technology, media, TV, software or telecommunications websites
- Natural brand, URL or editorial anchor texts
- A clean and consistent historical topic
- Old URLs that can be mapped logically to relevant pages on our website

These numbers are guidelines, not automatic acceptance criteria. Every domain must be evaluated manually.

3. Recommendation report

For each candidate, provide a score out of 100 based on:

- Topical relevance: 30 points
- Backlink quality: 30 points
- Clean historical record: 20 points
- Possibility of page-to-page URL mapping: 15 points
- Price and renewal cost: 5 points

The report must clearly state:

- BUY
- HOLD
- REJECT
- Recommended maximum purchase price
- Main risks
- Which old URLs contain the strongest backlinks
- Which pages on our website should receive each redirect

4. Acquisition

The selected domain must be registered or transferred into our own registrar account.

We must have full ownership and control of:

- The domain
- DNS
- Hosting
- SSL certificate
- Redirect configuration

We are not interested in renting a redirect or paying monthly for a domain controlled by another person.

5. Redirect implementation

After we approve and acquire the domain, implement a technically correct server-side 301 migration.

Requirements:

- Direct server-side 301 redirects
- No JavaScript or meta-refresh redirects
- No redirect chains
- HTTP, HTTPS, www and non-www versions properly configured
- Valid SSL certificate
- Strong old URLs redirected individually to the most relevant destination pages
- Unrelated or spam URLs should return 404 or 410
- Do not redirect every old URL automatically to the homepage
- Preserve URL-level relevance whenever possible
- Provide a complete redirect mapping document
- Test all redirects and provide the final HTTP status report

Example:

Old Android TV or media-player page
→ Relevant Smart TV or IPTV application guide

Old streaming-application page
→ Relevant application or streaming technology page

Unrelated, spam or hacked page
→ 404 or 410

6. Deliverables

First milestone:
- Shortlist of 5 properly audited domains
- Complete audit report and supporting evidence
- BUY / HOLD / REJECT recommendation
- Maximum recommended purchase price

Second milestone:
- Final verification of the selected domain
- Assistance with purchase or auction
- Domain placed in our account

Third milestone:
- Full URL mapping
- 301 implementation
- Technical testing
- Final report

Please answer these questions in your proposal:

1. What tools do you use to audit expired or aged domains?
2. How do you detect hacked history, PBN links and artificially inflated metrics?
3. How do you select old URLs for page-to-page redirects?
4. Can you provide an anonymized example of a previous aged-domain audit?
5. Will the domain be registered directly in our own account?
6. What is your fixed price for auditing the first five candidates?
7. What is your price for acquisition assistance and redirect implementation?
8. Do you provide any monitoring after implementation?

Do not promise guaranteed rankings or a guaranteed first-page position. We are looking for careful domain selection, clean execution and realistic SEO analysis.
