I need a fast, responsive e-commerce site for a fashion retail brand that feels as elegant as the clothes we sell. The storefront should present products in a clean grid layout, load quickly on both desktop and mobile, and follow solid SEO best practices from day one.
Core requirements
• Product catalog in a grid layout with filtering and search
• Cart, checkout, and order confirmation flow secured by PayPal integration (future gateways can remain flexible)
• Mobile-first design that passes Google Lighthouse performance benchmarks
• Admin dashboard focused on user management (adding, editing, and deactivating customers or staff accounts)
• Simple theme controls so that my in-house team can swap hero banners, update look-books, and schedule sales without touching code
• Fundamental on-page SEO (semantic HTML, meta tags, structured data) baked in
Acceptance criteria
1. Homepage and catalog pages score 90+ for performance and accessibility in Lighthouse.
2. PayPal sandbox and live transactions both succeed without errors.
3. Admin user management allows create, read, update, delete actions and enforces role-based access.
4. All pages render correctly across the last two versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, as well as iOS/Android devices.
5. Deployment documentation lets me reproduce the setup on a fresh server in under 30 minutes.
Stack is open—React, Next.js, Vue, Laravel, or a well-configured Shopify theme are all acceptable as long as the above goals are met. Source code should be version-controlled in Git with clear commit history.
