Bing / Google / Search engine issues

We have the problem that in particular Google and Bing do not crawl our start page. Although the sitemap.xml and the robot.txt can be reached but there are access errors with the search engines. FYI: we run Apache as a reverse proxy. We are looking for someone who will solve the problem for us in the next days.
