Android App Fix & Enhancement ($40, 1 hour)

I have a basic Android to-do list app built in Kotlin. It is mostly functional, but there are a few small bugs and minor feature requests that need to be completed quickly.

This is a small task intended to take about 1 hour for an experienced Android developer.
Fix crash when adding empty task
Ensure tasks persist after app restart (SharedPreferences already implemented but buggy)
Add checkbox to mark tasks as completed
Strike-through completed tasks
Minor UI polish (spacing + alignment)
Experience with Kotlin and Android Studio
Familiarity with RecyclerView
