US F&B Product Description Copy
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need concise, engaging product-description copy for a line of Food & Beverage items being introduced to the U.S. market. The primary purpose is educational: every snippet should teach shoppers what makes each product unique while staying fully compliant with American labeling norms and everyday language.
Scope
• Around 100–120 words per SKU, written in U.S. English.
• Highlight origin story, key ingredients, and any health or dietary advantages without making unsubstantiated claims.
• Tone: approachable, informative, with a dash of brand personality.
Deliverables
1. Polished description for each product in an editable Google Doc.
2. A quick reference sheet that lists any terminology or ingredient names that may need legal review.
Acceptance Criteria
• Copy passes Grammarly and Hemingway checks (Grade 8 or lower).
• Reads naturally to a U.S. audience and feels consistent across the range.
• No regulatory red flags—e.g., disease-treatment claims.
If you have experience writing for grocery shelves, Amazon listings, or D2C snack brands, your samples will speak volumes. I’m ready to move quickly once I see the right voice.
