Toxic Backlink Domain Cleanup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My domain has accumulated a batch of spam-heavy backlinks that are hurting rankings and trust signals. Using the data already pulled from our SEO software (Ahrefs + Search Console exports), I need a skilled link auditor to carry out a single, thorough cleanup focused specifically on domains that meet the “spammy backlinks” and "toxic domains" criterion.
You’ll re-check the backlink profile for false positives, refine the toxic list, and create everything required for a successful disavow. Once that’s done, submit the disavow file through Search Console and confirm that Google has accepted it.
Deliverables
• Curated list of spammy referring domains with brief notes on why each was flagged
• Ready-to-upload disavow.txt file (UTF-8) - BUT we do that already.
• Short wrap-up report summarising total links reviewed, domains disavowed, and any high-risk links that could not be addressed
Acceptance Criteria
• All listed domains genuinely match the “spammy backlinks” definition; no legitimate sites mistakenly included
• Disavow file uploads without format errors and is visible in Search Console
• Final report delivered within the agreed timeframe so we can track recovery moving forward
