Freelance SEO Specialist for Niche Job Board & Course Marketplace

I am looking for an experienced individual SEO freelancer (not an agency) who can help me improve the visibility and authority of my website over the next few months.

This is a part-time engagement and the website is currently a side project, so I am looking for someone who enjoys building organic growth strategies and can work with a modest monthly budget.

The website is a niche platform focused on job listings and course marketplaces, so prior experience with job boards, marketplaces, or education platforms would be highly valuable.

Scope of Work

The freelancer will help with the following:

SEO Strategy & Website Optimization

Perform a complete SEO audit of the website

Develop an SEO strategy tailored for job boards and course marketplaces

Optimize on-page SEO including meta tags, page structure, keywords, and internal linking

Improve overall domain authority and search engine visibility

Search Ranking & Traffic Growth

Develop strategies to improve ranking on Google search results

Implement structured SEO improvements over time

Suggest improvements for technical SEO if needed

Backlink & Authority Building

Create a strategy for high-quality backlink building

Outreach and link-building initiatives that improve domain credibility

Focus on sustainable, long-term SEO rather than short-term tricks

Analytics & Performance Monitoring

Set up and monitor **Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Track traffic, search performance, and keyword rankings

Provide periodic reports and insights

Content & Growth Strategy

Suggest SEO-driven content topics

Help create or guide blog/article content that drives organic traffic

Experience with job portal or course platform content strategy is a plus

Optional (Longer Term)

Assist with social media growth

Create SEO-friendly content that drives traffic into the platform

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in SEO for niche websites or marketplaces

Experience working with job boards, learning platforms, or content-driven websites

Strong understanding of technical SEO, backlinks, and organic growth

Comfortable working independently as a freelancer

Able to provide examples of previous work or results
