Ongoing SEO Assistant – 5 Hours/Week
I’m looking for a reliable SEO assistant to support my website’s search performance and site health on an ongoing basis (approx. 5 hours per week). This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced with SEO tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Run weekly site crawls using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to identify new technical issues.
Document and provide a list of all 404 errors and broken links (with affected URLs) and recommend appropriate redirects or fixes.
Submit and monitor sitemaps in Google Search Console to ensure proper indexing.
Review meta tags, headers, internal linking, and on-page SEO elements for optimization opportunities.
Track keyword performance and provide insights into ranking trends, impressions, and CTRs.
Deliver a clear summary of findings and action items each week.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of technical and on-page SEO best practices.
Familiarity with SEO audit tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console).
Ability to export and organize reports (CSV lists of 404 pages, crawl reports, etc.).
Understanding of site architecture, crawlability, and page rank distribution.
Good communication skills to present findings and suggest actionable improvements.
Deliverables:
Weekly SEO health check with documented findings.
Exported list of any 404s/broken URLs found during crawls.
Verified sitemap submission and indexing status.
Ongoing recommendations to improve visibility, rankings, and site structure.
