Sentiment Analysis Annotation Task
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m putting together a small-scale text annotation project focused on sentiment analysis. The content you’ll work with consists mainly of social media posts. Your job is to read each post, decide whether the sentiment is positive, negative, or neutral, and tag it in the platform I provide.
Scope and workflow
• Volume: micro tasks released in short batches so you can complete them in focused sessions.
• Source material: predominantly social media posts; occasional customer reviews or survey responses may appear, but the core set is social media.
• Tooling: a web-based annotation dashboard—no local installs required, just a stable internet connection and a modern browser.
• Quality bar: consistency and attention to detail are essential; I’ll supply clear labeling guidelines and a brief calibration set so you can learn the style before the main run.
Deliverables
1. Accurately labeled sentiment for each assigned text snippet.
2. Completion of all items in the batch within the agreed daily window.
3. A brief end-of-batch note summarizing any edge cases or questions that arose.
If you have prior experience with sentiment analysis or other text annotation work and can give me 3–4 reliable hours a day, I’d love to hear from you.
