Dual-Language Sentiment Annotation (ES/FR)
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m looking for a skilled annotator to perform sentiment labeling on a large collection of product reviews written exclusively in Spanish and French. Each entry already contains the full review text; your task is simply to assign a clear sentiment category—positive, neutral, or negative—based on the content. Strong fluency in both languages is required, as many reviews include informal expressions, idioms, or mixed tones.
The dataset consists of a few thousand short to medium-length reviews sourced from real e-commerce platforms. Once we begin, I’ll provide straightforward guidelines covering how to handle borderline sentiment, slang, sarcasm, and domain-specific terms. You’ll also receive a small sample first so you can align your labeling approach with my expectations.
Deliverables
• One final CSV or JSON file linking each review to its assigned sentiment label
• A brief note summarizing any unclear cases or labeling challenges
• Occasional progress updates for quick quality checks throughout the project
Human accuracy is the priority—tools are welcome to speed up the process, but final labels must be manually confirmed. If this fits your expertise, I’d be glad to move forward.
