Brand Mention Sentiment Monitoring
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a comprehensive media-monitoring setup that tracks every public mention of my brand (Somalia/Somali/Somalis) and tells me, at a glance, whether the coverage is positive, neutral, or negative. The scope covers news websites, the full range of social-media platforms, broadcast clips, and any other source you can reasonably plug into a single workflow.
My priority is sentiment analysis, not simply raw counts. I want actionable insight I can forward to leadership without extra polishing—trends over time, spikes that need attention, emerging themes, and a concise explanation of what drove each shift. If you already work with tools like Meltwater, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Mention, or a comparable stack, please say so; if you rely on your own scripts with APIs such as GDELT, Twitter/X, or Reddit, that works too as long as the results are clearly visualised and exportable.
Deliverables:
• Initial plan outlining data sources, collection method, and sentiment-scoring approach
• A functioning dashboard (web-based or cloud BI) with real-time or near-real-time updates
• Weekly PDF/PowerPoint snapshot automatically generated and emailed
• Brief hand-off guide so my team can maintain the system
Acceptance criteria will be a one-week live test in which the dashboard successfully captures and classifies all mentions we already know about and surfaces at least one we missed.
