Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Email Infrastructure Specialist to set up a high-deliverability email system for our SaaS platform using SendGrid. The system will handle transactional (OTPs, invoices, reminders) and marketing emails (promotions, discounts) with automated failover mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Domain & Subdomain Configuration:

- Configure DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for:
- Transactional Domain: entugo.in (subdomains: notify, payments, treat, remind)
- Marketing Domain: myentugo.com (subdomains: mkt1, mkt2, mkt3 for failover)
- Ensure proper IP warmup for new subdomains.

2. SendGrid Setup:

- Authenticate all subdomains in SendGrid.
- Assign dedicated IPs for critical transactional emails.
- Set up failover logic to switch between marketing subdomains if flagged.

3. Monitoring & Alerts:

- Integrate Google Postmaster Tools and MXToolbox for spam/blacklist monitoring.
- Configure SendGrid webhooks to track bounces/complaints.

4. Automation Scripts:

- Develop Python scripts for:
- Domain rotation if spam rate exceeds thresholds.
- Warmup maintenance for reserve subdomains.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience with SendGrid (domain authentication, IP warmup).
2. Expertise in DNS management (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
3. Familiarity with email deliverability best practices.
4. Ability to write automation scripts (Python/Bash).
5. Experience setting up failover systems for marketing emails.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of AWS SES (for future scaling).
- Experience with Kafka or queue systems for email prioritization.
Project Timeline:
- Phase 1 (DNS + SendGrid Auth): 3 days
- Phase 2 (Failover Setup): 5 days
- Phase 3 (Testing + Monitoring): 2 days
Budget:
- Fixed Price: $400 and below (negotiable based on experience).
- Milestone-based payments (50% upfront, 50% after testing).
