eBay Listing Monitor Script (Python + Selenium)

We’re looking for a Python developer experienced with Selenium (or similar libraries) to build a script that runs on our VPS (Ubuntu/CentOS).

What the script should do:

Accept a JSON config with multiple search entries (30–50) containing:

category_id

keyword

max_price

Continuously monitor eBay UK for matching Buy It Now or Best Offer listings.

Only include sellers located in the UK.

When a new match appears, send a webhook notification with:

Title

Description

Price (including postage)

Listing URL

Image link

Requirements:

Must run 24/7 on VPS.

JSON config should be easily editable to add/remove keywords or categories.

Efficient and lightweight handling of multiple search terms.
