I need a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to build a full-coverage functional test suite for our web application. Functional testing is the immediate priority, so every critical user journey—from first visit through final action—must be validated automatically. Selenium is our chosen framework; if you have preferred libraries or helper tools that enhance Selenium’s reach, feel free to weave them in, but the core must remain Selenium-based.
Here is what I expect:
• A well-structured Selenium project that can be run locally and in our CI pipeline.
• Thorough functional test cases capturing all core workflows, complete with clear assertions and thoughtful data handling.
• Regular, readable reports that highlight pass/fail results and pinpoint any regressions.
• Concise setup notes so future team members can execute or extend the suite without guesswork.
I’ll provide repository access, existing manual test notes, and staging credentials as soon as we start. Once the first pass of tests is in place, I’d like a quick walk-through call so we can agree on coverage depth and any edge cases that deserve early attention. Later we may branch into performance or security automation, so designing the suite with scalability in mind will earn extra points.
