Streaming Web App QA Testing
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My browser-based video platform is approaching public launch, and I want every aspect of the streaming experience rock-solid before it goes live. The job is a full exploratory and regression pass on the current staging build, covering video playback, adaptive bitrate handling, UI responsiveness, cross-browser behaviour, and resilience under real-world network fluctuations.
You will create a concise test plan up front so we agree on scope, then execute the tests across a realistic mix of desktop and mobile environments (I’m happy to prioritise the devices and operating systems you already have in your lab). Where automated checks with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress make sense, please layer them in; otherwise screenshots, HAR files, and short screen recordings will suffice.
Deliverables (all in English):
• Agreed test plan and environment matrix
• Daily defect logs in Jira (or my template spreadsheet) with clear repro steps, console/network traces, and severity tags
• Final summary report highlighting pass/fail rates, notable edge-case findings, and any performance bottlenecks you observe
Acceptance criteria: every critical or major issue is reproducible, documented, and assigned a severity; all regression checks complete with 100 % coverage of the agreed matrix; and the closing report gives me a clear “go / no-go” confidence level.
I’m ready to give immediate access to the staging URL, test accounts, and CDN metrics dashboard once we lock in the plan.
