Selenium Automation for Efficient Ticket Testing

Job ID: 38675882

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Objective:
To automate the process of testing tickets using Selenium, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in our workflow.

Workflow Description:

Ticket Management:
The maintenance team receives tickets that require resolution.
Each ticket includes specific issues that need to be addressed.
SQL Script Execution:
The maintenance team resolves the tickets using SQL scripts.
Once resolved, the team uploads the scripts to a Git repository for version control and collaboration.
Testing Phase:
As a tester, I will access the tickets on ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
I will then execute the SQL scripts against the database to apply the changes.
Validation Process:
After executing the scripts, I will validate the results to ensure the issues have been resolved as expected.
Automation with Selenium:

Goal: Automate the testing process to streamline ticket validation.
Implementation: Use Selenium to:
Automatically navigate to the ALM interface to retrieve and display tickets.
Execute the SQL scripts through a web interface, if applicable.
Validate the results by comparing expected outcomes with actual results, ensuring that the resolutions are effective.
Key Benefits:
Increased Efficiency: Reduces manual efforts and speeds up the testing process.
Improved Accuracy: Minimizes human error in ticket validation.
Enhanced Collaboration: Streamlines communication between the maintenance and testing teams.
