Python Developer for Search Bot Fixes
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Most of the functions have already been completed. I need a Python developer to update the Google search logic, adjust the PDF output format, and implement protections against Google's spam detection(e.g., CAPTCHA, rate limiting)
Tasks:
- Fix or update the Google search function to extract full snippets (title, URL, description)
- Ensure it collects the top 20 results per query
- Improve or finalize the PDF output format
- Add anti-bot protections (user-agent rotation, proxies, random wait times, etc.)
Requirements:
-Strong Python experience
-Proficient with web scraping tools like Selenium, Playwright or BeautifulSoup
-Experience with Google search scraping and avoiding detection
-PDF generation skills using ReportLab, WeasyPrint, or similar
-Ability to work with and improve an existing codebase
