Production-Grade Browser Automation Engineer Required
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are hiring an experienced Browser Automation Engineer to build a reliable, production-grade automation system that controls a real web browser to perform structured, repeatable workflows across multiple websites.
This is not a simple scraper. The automation must handle real user flows including form completion, conditional steps, document access, downloads, and integrations with external systems.
We already have a clear vision for the workflow and architecture and are looking for someone who can design it correctly and build it cleanly.
Scope of Work
You will design and implement a browser-based automation agent that:
Controls a real browser (Playwright strongly preferred; Selenium or RPA acceptable with justification)
Navigates authenticated websites
Detects conditional flows (e.g. document gates, agreements, confirmations)
Completes multi-step forms deterministically
Downloads documents (PDFs and similar)
Prevents duplicate work across runs
Stores processing state so the system is resumable and auditable
Integrates with Google Drive or a watched upload folder
Can scale across multiple machines without conflicts
The system must be state-driven, not “guess-based,” and safe to re-run.
Key Requirements
Must-Have
Strong experience with browser automation (Playwright preferred)
Ability to work with dynamic web pages (modern JS sites)
Experience handling downloads, sessions, cookies, and persistence
Clear understanding of idempotency, state tracking, and retries
Clean, maintainable code and logging
Comfortable working with either Node.js or Python
Nice-to-Have
Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate Desktop)
Experience integrating with Google Drive APIs
Experience running automations across multiple machines or workers
Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows (Claude, GPT, etc.)
