Policy Lifecycle QA & Automation -- 2
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m rolling out an insurance platform update and need a QA partner who can cover the full policy lifecycle—from creation through renewal to cancellation—while keeping our Agile release cadence on track. The core of the engagement is a mix of integration testing, deep-dive SQL data checks, and a scalable Selenium/Java automation suite. Alongside the hands-on testing, I also need help steering UAT: planning the cycles, tracking progress, logging and managing defects, and turning stakeholder feedback into clear action items.
Key activities
• Build and execute integration test cases that exercise the product model, rating engine, and downstream services.
• Write SQL queries to validate rating calculations and data integrity across environments.
• Develop a maintainable Selenium/TestNG framework in Java, wired into our CI pipeline (Jenkins/Git).
• Coordinate UAT: create the test plan, run daily status, own defect triage, and compile feedback for each sprint review.
Acceptance criteria
• Complete test coverage for policy creation, renewal, and cancellation with evidence of pass/fail results.
• Automated regression pack that runs headless in under 30 minutes and produces a clear HTML or Allure report.
• Data-validation scripts that reconcile premium/fees to the penny against source tables.
• UAT dashboard showing planned vs. executed cases, open/closed defects, and documented stakeholder sign-off.
If you have recent insurance domain experience, strong Java/Selenium skills, and can plug straight into a fast-moving Agile team, let’s lock in the timeline and get started.
