Next-Gen IVR Testing comprehensive Test strategy

Job ID: 40283337

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I’m looking for a seasoned QA professional to craft a full-scale test strategy for our new self-serve IVR platform. The document must tell a complete story—from high-level objectives down to step-by-step execution—so that my internal QA team can pick it up and run without guesswork.

Scope and focus
The strategy has to address every angle of the experience: the customer-facing user interface, voice recognition accuracy, and all back-end system integrations. My end goal is threefold: prove day-one usability for callers, demonstrate rock-solid performance and reliability under load, and confirm seamless compatibility with the rest of our customer-care stack.

Key features that must receive priority coverage are call routing and transfers, natural-language voice command recognition, and real-time customer data retrieval from our CRM and billing systems. Any edge cases—barge-in, silence detection, error prompts—need explicit mention, fraudulent detection .

What I expect to receive
• A written strategy (Word or PDF) structured by test phases: unit, integration, system, UAT, performance and regression
• Detailed test scenarios and acceptance criteria for functional, non-functional, and failover testing, mapped to the features above
• Recommended automation approach (e.g., Selenium for UI where applicable, toolkits such as Cyara, Hammer, or home-grown scripts) with pros and cons
• Performance test plan outlining load profiles, KPIs, and tooling suggestions (JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar)
• Environmental matrix covering telephony components (SIP, PRI), IVR platform (Genesys or Twilio Studio), speech engines (Nuance, Google Dialogflow), and downstream APIs
• Risk analysis plus mitigation tactics
• A clear traceability table linking requirements, tests, and expected outcomes

I’m not asking for actual test execution right now—just the blueprint that will let us execute efficiently in a later phase. If you’ve authored comparable strategies for large voice or contact-center deployments, I’d like to see a concise sample or outline of your past work when you respond.
