Manual & Automated Software Testing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
My development team is about to enter the quality-assurance phase and I need a dedicated tester to take charge of both manual and automated testing. The project already has running builds and clear functional requirements; what it lacks is a fresh set of eyes to uncover edge-case defects and to put reproducible, automated safeguards in place for future releases.
Here’s what I’d like from you:
• A concise test strategy and risk-based test plan covering functional, regression, usability and performance angles.
• Hands-on execution of exploratory and scripted manual test cases.
• Creation of maintainable automated suites (for example, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or a framework you recommend) that can run on every build.
• Clear bug reports—with steps, logs, screenshots or video—as well as a daily summary of progress.
• A final test summary document outlining coverage, outstanding issues and recommendations.
The codebase is accessible through Git and the CI pipeline is ready to integrate your scripts, so you can start as soon as we agree on scope and timelines. If you’ve shipped solid automation and can think like an end user while you test, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this.
