Jetstar Fare Scraping Script

I’m looking for a clean, reliable way to collect fare prices and flight details from Jetstar.com and drop them directly into Excel

Scope
• Read a simple list of routes (Origin-Destination) and a date range that I can edit.
• For each day and each route, visit Jetstar’s search results, then capture:
– Fare price and currency
– Flight number
– Departure and arrival times
• Write one row per flight in Excel, with the data already sorted by date so I can filter or pivot straight away.

Tech preferences
Python (Requests / BeautifulSoup / Selenium) would be perfect, but an Excel VBA macro is fine if it delivers the same result. Whichever you choose, please keep the code well-commented so I can tweak routes or dates later.

Deliverables
1. Fully-working script or macro on my computer
2. Sample Excel file showing a successful scrape.
3. Short setup and run guide.

The solution doesn’t need bells and whistles—just accuracy, resilience to minor site changes, and straightforward maintenance.
