Java Web Automation Testing Specialist
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need an automation engineer who can build and maintain a solid suite of Java-based tests for our web application inside IntelliJ IDEA. The goal is to cover the critical user journeys end-to-end, give us quick feedback on every commit, and leave the project with clean, readable test code that any developer on the team can extend.
The stack is Java 17 and IntelliJ; I’m open to whichever framework you feel is best—Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or a combination—so long as it runs reliably in our existing CI pipeline and can be triggered headless. When you apply, please focus on your direct experience writing web UI tests in Java within IntelliJ. A brief note on similar projects you’ve completed, the frameworks you chose, and why they worked will help me shortlist quickly.
Deliverables
• A runnable project in Git (Maven or Gradle) containing the automated test suite
• Page Object-based structure with clear naming conventions
• README that explains setup, execution commands, and how to add new tests
• Sample test report output (HTML or JUnit XML) generated by the build
Once the initial coverage is in place, I may look to you for ongoing maintenance and CI optimisation, so clean code and clear documentation are key acceptance criteria.
