Goethe Institute Seat Availability Monitor
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Scope of work
• Monitor the Goethe Institute website for real-time seat availability updates.
• Handle dynamic content and refresh at reasonable intervals without triggering rate limits or violating website policies.
• Send instant notifications via Email, Telegram, or another agreed channel whenever new availability is detected.
• Optionally provide a direct link to the booking page so I can proceed manually as quickly as possible.
Tech expectations
I am comfortable with a Python-based solution using Selenium, Playwright, or other reliable tools. The code should be clean, configurable, and well-commented so I can easily adjust monitoring intervals, target dates, and notification settings later.
Deliverables
Full runnable source code.
A short README explaining setup, environment requirements, and how to change basic parameters.
A quick demo or recorded video showing the tool detecting new availability and sending a notification.
Acceptance criteria
• The tool detects seat availability quickly and reliably on a stable internet connection.
• I receive a clear instant notification message when seats are available.
• All dependencies install cleanly in a fresh environment following the README instructions.
If you have prior experience with monitoring dynamic websites or building real-time notification systems, please share a brief example
