Final Year Selenium Testing Project

I’m preparing my final-year submission and need a complete Selenium automation project that shows how to drive a desktop application through Chrome WebDriver. Because the assessed focus is on Selenium itself, the code must be clean, well-commented, and easy for me to demo in class.

Scope
• Target platform: a desktop application (we will not be automating a web or mobile app).
• Browser channel: Chrome only, controlled with Selenium WebDriver.
• Operating system: Windows 10.

Please deliver
1. Source code for the test suite (Java or Python preferred; suggest another language if you see a clear benefit).
2. A concise README covering environment setup, driver installation and a one-command test run.
3. At least one representative test case that opens the application, performs a visible action, and logs the result.
4. A short report (PDF or DOC) describing the framework design, the implemented test steps, and screenshots of a successful execution.

If you already have experience bridging Selenium with desktop apps—e.g., using WinAppDriver, Winium, or similar wrappers—let me know in your proposal.
