Python Web Scraping & Automation – Itemku Price Monitoring + Auto Excel

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a **Python / Backend / Web Scraping Engineer** to build an automation bot with the following features:

* Scrape price data from **itemku.com** on a regular basis
* Collect prices from all competing stores
* Determine the **lowest price**
* If the lowest price is **NOT my store (Speed Toko)** → set price = lowest price − 1 IDR
* If the lowest price **IS Speed Toko** → keep the current price (no reduction)
* Automatically update/export the result to **Excel (.xlsx)**
* Bot runs **continuously (polling every X minutes)**

No frontend / UI required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Python
* Web Scraping (XHR / Fetch or DOM scraping)
* Playwright or Selenium
* Handling JavaScript-heavy websites
* Excel automation (.xlsx)
* Able to run on local machine and VPS (Ubuntu)

NICE TO HAVE

* Experience handling anti-bot / Cloudflare
* Experience scraping marketplaces / e-commerce
* Cron / systemd setup
* Clean, well-documented code
