We are looking for an experienced developer to build an automation system that collects Indian court judgements and stores them in a single centralized database.
This is an MVP project with a strict 7-day delivery timeline, focused on automation, data extraction, and basic search functionality.
Project Scope (7-Day MVP)
Automated collection of court judgements from:
Supreme Court of India
One to two High Courts
Extraction of key case details:
Case title
Court name
Case number
Date of judgement
Storage of judgement documents (PDF or text) in a centralized database
Basic keyword-based search and filtering
Scheduled automation for regular updates
Timeline
Day 1–2: Automation and scraping setup
Day 3–4: Data extraction, processing, and storage
Day 5–6: Search implementation and testing
Day 7: Deployment and handover
Preferred Technology Stack (Flexible)
Backend: Python or Node.js
Automation: Scrapy, Playwright, or Selenium
Database: PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Search (optional for MVP): Elasticsearch
