Windows Laptop Security & iTunes Setup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a fresh Windows-based company laptop that must meet our internal security standards before it can go into daily use. I’m looking for an IT support engineer who can log in remotely, harden the system, and then configure iTunes so the device is ready for regular backups and app management.
Security hardening comes first. I need a correctly scoped firewall profile, a reputable antivirus solution installed and fully updated, and full-disk encryption enabled so everything is protected at rest. If BitLocker is your preferred encryption tool that’s perfectly fine, but I’m open to alternatives as long as they deliver the same protection and don’t slow the machine down.
Once the security layer is locked down, you’ll move on to iTunes for Windows. I rely on iTunes to manage several iOS devices, so please make sure:
• Backup management runs to a designated, encrypted folder
• App installation and updates complete without errors
• Data synchronization works reliably over both cable and Wi-Fi
I’m happy to coordinate through any remote-desktop utility you prefer (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or Microsoft Quick Assist are all fine) and will stay available on a call while you work so I can approve each step. The job is complete when the firewall rules are applied, antivirus is active and updated, the drive shows as fully encrypted, and iTunes runs through a full backup + sync cycle without warnings.
If you’re confident with Windows security tools and know the quirks of iTunes for Windows, let’s get this laptop ready for production.
